Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

First of all, PCOS is a syndrome meaning that it is a group of findings (including but necessarily including cystic appearing ovaries). It really comes down to a problem related to irregularity in terms of when you ovulate. Many women with PCOS improve their chances of pregnancy by using ovulation induction medications, such as clomid. Finally, a prolactin of 30 is elevated and will also cause irregular or absent ovulation and should be addressed with a repeat lab drawn when you are fasting.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
