What Should Be The Proper Diet During Cold?

My daughter has a running nose today. She has no fever or cough. She is 1 year old. Can I give her fruit juices? What is the best medicine for running nose at this age?

You can give your daughter fresh fruit juices as long as it is not cold or refrigerated. Give her plenty of fluids to keep her adequately hydrated. You can give her warm soups that will give her relief. Use a soft tissue to wipe away mucus from her nose to keep her comfortable. Avoid giving your child any medication unless it has been prescribed by your pediatrician. If you are currently giving her multivitamin syrup daily, continue to give her that. See the doctor if the child is endless crying, fever morthan 100C vomiting, drowsy and any sign that feels you abnormal. Regards, Medical Team.
