Hello there,

Values for hemoglobin that are normal ranges from 12 to 14 md/dl, females have even lower range of normal values due to their menstrual cycle. Other labs label a value of 11 as normal for females.
Your follw up questions does not relate to the question on hemoglobin, are you having problems with cutting tablets into 2 halves? There would be a line in the middle of the tablet if it is a scored tablet, meaning, you will get exactly the half value of the indicated mg, but those tablets that don't have lines in the middle are not scored tablets, so cutting it into 2 parts is not advisable.

Thank you.
