What Should Be Done To Treat A Recurring Rash That Look Like Ringworm In The Tongue?

my son had a 1/4 inch circular patch of rasied white semi flaky skin on his tongue. all the little "tastebuds" have fallen off and he has smooth skin there now with a small sore in the center. he also has a recurrent rash that looks like ringworm but comes right back a week or so after treatment with ketoconazole.

thanks for your query,
i have gone through your question, nothing to worry about this...the circular patch could be a median rhomboid glossitis or benign migratory glossitis which requires no treatment as such...consume nutritious food..if it is symptomatic and if you have burning sensation then you can take a topical analgesic and anesthetic like anabel gel..apply 3-4 times daily...take multivitamin capsules like becosules fro one month...maintain oral hygiene by rinsing your mouth after eating food...
i hope my answer will help you...
with regards...
