What Should Be Done After A Head Injury?

I slipped and hit my right side of my head 4hrs ago on a flat surface of the wall very hard. No bleeding but it felt like it was inside. No nausea, blurred vision or loss of consciousness. I put ice on the area, and I don't feel a hematoma but it's sore to touch. How soon can I go to sleep and how often should I awake mysel?

As narrated by you at present you don't have any danger signs. Local pain and tenderness may due to soft tissue injury external to cranium. You can have a sleep and rest. You have to consult a doctor if headache , vomiting , drowsiness , seizure or some weakness develops. Otherwise rest with some pain killers may help. Get well soon.
