Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
as your son is suffering from Acute tonsillitis a full course of antibiotics and antipyretic and antiinflammatory drug like Combiflam may help.
If it is eradicated it is well and good.
Otherwise repeat the antibiotic each time he suffers from infection.
If infection occurs very frequently he may need tonsillectomy.
Better consult ENT surgeon if needed.
Hope this reply serves your purpose.
Further queries invited .
