What Should I Do To Get Back The Loss Of Smell?

Hi,I am Anu Last month i suffered with a high fever,due to that i lost my smell sensation,doctors saying that its a kind of viral fever it affect Olfactory lobe...n something and its very unfortunate thing any body there please tell me regarding this problem

Hullo Anu, viral fever or simply Flu may affect the sense of smell, usually temporarily. Be patient, you may regain it gradually. However if it persists for lets say, more than 6 months, I think you should consult a Neurologist or ENT specialist. This sometimes also occurs with taste sensation. Hope you recover soon.
