Hi doctor, For my 1 year old daughter who has cough and slight wheezing since a day can we give lovolin syrup and if so what is the exact dose to be followed. She has cold and nose block even. We are using salin solution and vaporizer. Please suggest. Regards

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. If your daughter is 10 Kg weight you can give 2.5 ml of Levolin syrup. Be careful not to exceed the dose as it can cause palpitation. Two to three times daily is the usual dosage. If you are using salbutamol or levosalbutamol in vapouriser then you can avoid or decrease the dosage of Levolin. Consult your GP or pediatrician for proper dosing and if there is no improvement or worsening. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
