What Procedure To Follow For Treatment Of Retinal Detachment?

I went through a laser surgery for partial detachment of retina. A fluid or gel was put bewhind the retina, and I was told that this fluid/ gel will have to be removed and other natural fluids will take over. (1) After removal of this fluid how long will it take to the vision to return? (2) I have got , a but s test reveals that there is an air bubble, what are the implications of this. Since the removal of fluid has been done today, is there any urgent action I should take, a lot of drops have been prescribed and I have been asked to meet the Surgeon in three days. What are the actions I should take? I was a diabetic but now for a few months fating sugar is about 66 and PP and blood pressure varies from 112 to128. I take a tablet for this every day. I am +64 years old, Male.

HI
Well come to HCM
Retinal surgery is very complicated one and without the advise of Retinologist no one can do anything if you have some problem then this need to be seen by the Retinologist, only pain can be managed but the vision you need to see the Retinologist only, if you don not have any complain then go according to advise and no need to take any action, hope this helps.
