Pediatrician 's  Response
Thanks for query
First of all, Ostium Secundum ASD, as your baby has is one of the less dangerous heart defects. Most of the such defects of this size should close by its own. But a regular follow up at your cardiologist is necessary to ensure that it is not increasing in size.
========
Precautions
========
Ensure utmost hygiene, these babies are prone to develop respiratory and cardiac infections
Give good diet, i.e at 11 months we need to be giving adequate amount of complementary feeding consisting of semisolid and solid food items made at home in addition to the breast feeds
Monitor for good weight gain
Regular cardiology follow up
Vaccination as per schedule
Hope this helps. keep in touch
