Hello welcome to HCM.
In diabetes once patients start drugs usually he has to take life long medications. To keep blood sugar levels In control will prevent future kidney, heart and eye risk.
My advice to you is -
1.every 3 monthly FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report should be done.. And keep data of all reports.
2 . Avoid sugars in all forms. Less rice, potato. Avoid mango, banana like foods.
3 . regular daily walking and exercise helps a lot in diabetes.
4 . target for FBS - 130
PP2BS - 160.extreme control might increase the risk of low blood sugar.
Thank you.
