What Precautions Should Be Taken While Having Partially Collapsed Lung With A Nodule?

My husband went to urgent care with pain with deep inspiration and a chest xray revealed anpartially collapsed lung. He was sent to the er for a ct scan which was negative for a blood clot but showed a 4mm lung nodule; he has a 10 year hx of smoking; he was told to follow up with a pulmonologist; we have an appointment next week. What are his activity restrictions in the mean time until we see the pulmonologist?
