What Precautions Should Be Taken To Avoid Ectopic Pregnancy?

Hello mam,i had one missed abortion in august 2013 which was treates by d&c and then i had one ectopic pregnancy in may 2014 which was treated by salpingostomy.Now i am planning to get pregnant within 2 months.What precautions should i take for a normal pregnancy?

I understand your concern.
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) could be one of the cause for ectopic pregnancy. Kindly get evaluated by examination from Gynecologist and appropriate investigation and in case it is indicative of PID, you need to take necessary treatment.
You cannot always prevent an ectopic pregnancy, but you can reduce the chances by protecting yourself against pelvic inflammatory disease.
Since you already had one ectopic pregnancy, with one missed abortion and underwent D & C procedure previously, it would be advisable for you to undergo assisted reproductive technique like invitro fertilization (IVF). Kindly consult Infertility specialist in this regard.
