What Precautions Need To Be Taken After A Head Injury In A Child?

Dear Sir, My daughter is 3.6 months old she was sleeping and suddenly fell off the bed. On hearing the sound and her cry we got up and saw she was crying loudly and on the floor. We picked her up and tried to see what went wrong , but did not see any bruise or swelling on the head, due to crying perhaps she vomitted and suddenly her cry roared again for 5 mins seeing the mess. We cleaned up and suddenly she stopped crying we gave her some water to drink , calpol 5 ml / 250 mg one dose , and arnica 30 homeopatheic medicine. Now she is sleeping so should we worry as internet sources i am reading and getting confused . Please help me .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Thank you for writing us here.
Well head injuries could be serious since she vomited it could be because of a hemorrhage.
She could be in a "lucid interval" right now (if she hit herself within 24-30 hours)
I would suggest you to take her to a doctor for her examination if she has an underlying injury or not. Or if present, how serious.
Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
