What Medicine Should I Give My Child Running Down With Fever On Day Of Last Dose For Pneumonia ?

Hello: My baby is 3.3 yrs old and last week she had cough and the doctor ordered Amoxiciline. He told us she had Pneumonia . She took the syrup as ordered and got better. But today in her last does the she has fever and cough. She vomited once and I gave her Paracetamol syrups. But no change on her fever. It s midnight here and no where to go. Please advice what to do. Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks for your query.
Pneumonia is rare now a days and another things is that amoxycillin is less preferred drugs now a days as bacteria has resistant against that.
you should go to a PD today for treatment.

Hi,
Thanks for query,
You continue paracetamol syrup and cough syrup.
Give plenty of water.
In the morning take her to pediatrician for investigations.
He may go for chest Xray,blood TC.DC..
After giving still higher antibiotic she will be alright.
