What Medicine Can I Take To Stop Bleeding After An Abortion?

Hello...i had an abortion of twins 2 weeks ago at 9 weeks. I am still bleeding lightly although i had passed a tissue during the first week of bleeding after a series of painful cramps. I would really like to stop the bleeding immediately because it is quite inconvenniencing. I have been traking metronidazole on an off as an antibiotic. What pill can i take to stop the bleeding that is if it is safe at all?

Hi,

you can take tablet Transgenic acid to stop the bleeding if it is persistent. It is better to get the prescription about dosage with your practitioner.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Swathi Kamidi, OBGYN
