Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Metronidazole is right treatment for E Histolytica. It takes 1-2 weeks for symptoms to settle down, sometimes they may expeirience lactose intolerance, consider avoiding milk for a week.

Consult Physician when you notice following red signs
1. Dry oral mucosa which implies dehdration
2. Absence of tears while crying
3. Blood/mucous in stools
4. Irritability
5. Decreased movements and excessive sleepiness
