as a teenager, I used to suffer with very heavy painful periods, I was put on many types of pill until I found 1 that helped which was cilest. I remained on this pill for many years and even went back on it after having my child, after being back on it for about 6 more yrs, I started suffering realy bad migrains around the time of my period, my pill was changed a few times and I eventually decided to come off the pill altogether about 2 yrs ago. I am now 35, I have now gone back to how I was when I was a teenager, having heavy painful periods but still get migrains aswel around the start of my periods. My periods last anywhere between 7 - 10 days, they seem to be getting heavier and more painful every month and have recently been passing small clotts. Why is this and do you reccomend going back on the pill, because at least when I was on it, my periods were more normal and cramps minimal.
