What measures should I take for my baby who gets cold an coughs frequently and doesn't eat well ?
1.5 years baby not eating well and getting cough and cold frequentyly Sir, My son is 1.5 years old and weighs 105kg.Almost every month he will get cold with severe cough. And it lasts for one week or more. This whole week, his appetite is very poor and even if he eats, because of cough he vomits. I consulted many doctors but of no use. Please suggest wht to do. He is staying at home only with my aunty. Not with baby sitter. He is a poor eater. Very difficult to feed him. Almost it take 1 hr to feed. I tries different varieties for taste as suggested by doctors still of same. His weight gain also very poor. I am worried a lot. Please provide your best advice. Thanks, Rehan

Cold and cough is due to allergy and low immune system as doctor said.
My daughter also had same problem when she was 9 months old, we use to visit pediatrician each month like you.
As doctor use to say there is no treatment of allergy in Allopath, only it can be controlled.
Allopath (antibiotics/ anti allergic drugs) will not give permanent cure but we can improve our immune (resistance) to fight with any infection and can get permanent cure.
But permanent cure is possible believe me and you should attempt it as I did for my daughter.

generally by one year baby wt increases by 3 times.
sign of good health in a baby is that the infant is gaining weight
just offer him food frequently if he seems hungry. Many babies prefer to feed them selves rather than have a spoon pushed into their mouth.you can add pieces of cooked vegetables, fruit. Let her try to feed himself .
the frequent cold and cough may be due to low immunity or allergic reaction.
allergies can adversely affect a baby's weight.so try to avoid the allergen.
you can add ghee and high-calorie baby foods, such as bananas, sweet potatoes,and proteins like dal in addition to milk.
