What May Be The Reason For Getting Depressed While Pregnancy?

Iam pregnant. Iam now 5th month, iam getting lot of mood swings, I donot feel like talking to any one, feel very low. Do not like to go out of thehouse and feel very depressed. I donot know the reason, every thing is fine at home, still feel depressed, what to do for this?

It is perfectly normal to get mood swings during pregnancy. It is basically your hormones playing havoc. Keep yourself occupied with good happy thoughts. Meditate, listen to good music and read religious books. Go for walks in gardens or Malls . Do window shopping and read baby books. DO NOT read unnecessary stuff about pregnancy on the net ! It can get very depressing if you bump into information about problems during pregnancy, then you start imagining everything bad will happen to you !! If you are a working women continue working with some modifications unless there is a medical reason for you to take it easy. Hope this helps !

hey whats wrong with you? you should be happy that you are pregnant..think of your baby.. how it is growing..what you should do..what you should eat and all that..if you get depressed..it will affect the baby tooo. why you want to make that little one inside you depressed??/ it is God's gift..take care of it dear..

i was veru happy when i was pregnant i was never depressed ..i think there is no proper support from ur family

this is due to the change in the hormone levels during the pregnancy. i also had this problem in my 5th month. my husband advised me to indulge in alternative activity to divert my atension. i had interest in reading novels. so he made an arrangement to bring new novels every time he comes home. as i indulged my self in reading books the depression also went away
