my husband has one swollen testicle. also very sore. what could be the cause?

You husband needs to see a doctor for examination and ultrasound.Swelling of the testis occurs due to many reasons and needs to be identified soon.Most common reason is trauma,infection,hydrocele/pyocele etc.If there is soreness this problem needs to be rectified asap.
