Hi,

As per your query you had chicken pox marks on the face which is mainly after viral infection and poor immunity of the body. You are already taking too much medication so complete that course only as per prescription. Along with that apply topically calamine lotion will heal up the rashes. Chickenpox lesions don't leave a scar as such until and unless you scratch them. Eat green leafy vegetables and fruits in the diet. Apply coconut oil as well. Don't scratch lesion with the nail as it will cause a bacterial infection there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

I have red bumps on my torso and no where else. They do not eat but resemble a chickenpox. I have used a new detergent fragrance enhancer to my towels and sheets. I was freaking out because I thought they were bedbugs..Yuck! .but we checked every stitch of our bed and nothing? I also have a hot tub. As the day has gone by I have started to notice I only itch in a few spots on my arms where there is no bumps?? Is this an allergy or what??

Hello Doctor, My daughter (aged 04 yrs 03 mnths) was infected with Chickenpox virus on the 14th of June, she is used to sleep next to me hugging me most of the time, but i was not infected but my wife had the first blister on the 01st of July, Again, I was looking after her from giving her food uptill cleaning the floor, she is recovered on the 14th of July and my younger daughter (aged 03yrs 01 month) has a blister from the 19th of July. I am still not infected. My worry is whether I am infected internally and if so, is it dangerous if I do not get blisters visibly on my external body. I feel slight itching on my palm and some parts of the body but nothing visible. What is your expert comment on this.

Hello! I m 15 years old. Me and my sister had a chicken pox three weeks ago. We got infected by our little brother who got infected only also by his classmates. It has been 3 weeks and my sisters scars in her back, stomach, arms and legs are starting to disapper so quickly unlike mine which are still so obvious and still not yet disappearing. I feel so sad because I have already tried a lot of cream and oil but I see no changes. I have been using Bi-oil, A-Derma repairing cream and A-Derma lotion (Dermalibour). I am still also using Cyteal whenever I take a bath. I already used 5 lotions of A-Derma since the first day I had chicken pox and I noticed that the wound-like/ spots dried easily but after weeks, it ended up leaving pockmarks and it’s all over my face, my back, my legs, my arms, my neck, my hands. What should I do? Should I try Calamine lotion? The pockmarks are so plain and dark now. I am so ashame to go out and wear short sleeves, shorts because they are so obvious.
