What Leads To Pounding Of Heart,shortness Of Breath And Chest Pain?

Dear sir.I have some symptoms which is given below 1)pounding heart/feel as a heart attack 2)shortness of breath 3)chest pain/ some times stomach pain 4)dizziness 5)numbness6)Tingling 7)burping 8)lack of concentration and feel like going to crazy.All the symptoms have last three years and I think now I am a patient of anxiety depression and panic attack. So please give me advice. and which type of doctor may I preferred

Hi,
All your symptoms including heart palpitations could be due to anxiety, stress,anaemia,gastric reflux or may be ectopic beats,SVT.

In healthy individuals, it is mostly of anxiety or stress but if you have shortness of breath,chest pain,dizziness,numbness,tingling,burping or and headache,then you must evaluate for premature atrial or ventricular contractions,paroxysmal supra ventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation etc.

The above heart diseases have many other symptoms apart from palpitations and SOB but they some times start with this symptoms.

You can undergo ECG,holter monitoring ( 24 hr heart activity) ,TMT if no contraindications, or 2D echo to rule our heart problem.

You must consult your physician if facing this problem since long time.

You can take anxiolytic drug like tab.lexapro,its good drug for anxiety.
