What Leads To Lack Of Focus And Concentration?

I m trying to write a paper for my final due tomorrow and I for the life of me CANNOT concentrate. I ve noticed this concentration problem a long while back and its been getting worse and worse lately to the point where now I literally can t stay focused and write this report. It s very frustrating and I don t know what to do. I know this won t be fixed in one night, but do you have any suggestion as to how I can fix this long term problem I ve developed?

hello there,
A sense of anxiety can also interfere with your concentration. Do not have caffeine based foods like coffee, sodas as they make you more fidgety. You can have a glass of milk. It will calm you, make you drowsy and you can get up in the morning and study.


In the long term,
Meditative techniques help you focus better. So does yoga and pranayam. Also the lower you are on social media the longer your concentration times. One thing which can be tried is having a clock on top of a tv screen and focussing on the second hand while the tv is on. You will get distracted by the Tv but you have to get your focus back to the second hand. The longer you are able to focus the better it helps your concentration.

Regarding pills there are herbs like Brahmi and gingko biloba which help your concentration.They are available as pills and have shown some beneficial effects in a diverse population.
