Hepatitis A is a viral disease which causes liver damage and jaundice. It is spread from contamination of food, hands, water by infected stool. Most of the time the infection goes away by itself. In some cases treatment is necessary.

Take a Vitamin E supplement daily. Many patients with Hepatitis have been shown to have a low level of Vitamin E. Vitamin E has been shown to be able to cure nearly half of patients with Hepatitis when taken for a 10 month period. Ideally you should take around 600 IU of Vitamin E daily.

Take a Vitamin C supplement daily. Vitamin C has been proven to help improve the condition of Hepatitis. Vitamin C can also be used to help prevent Hepatitis post transfusion.

Take 1,000 mcg of Vitamin B12 daily. Vitamin B12 has been shown to help improve the condition of Hepatitis for some patients. Vitamin B12 is more effective when taken through injections. Speak to a doctor about taking this treatment.
