What Kind Of Diet Should Be Followed To Manage Ancolitis?

Hi Doctor my friend just had a colonoscopy,we havenot seen the doctor for the results yet, but the colonoscopy impression says pancolitis and the findings also says there was pancolitis seen throughout the colono(mayo 1)-granularity,loss of vascular pattern and small scattered erosions with no contact bleeding. So, we are very worried and is it something serious or not. What should we need to do now? What kind of diet we need to follow please advise us

Hi,

It does not seems to be the serious condition, it can be due to inflammatory process of colon, and it has to be correlated with the clinical condition and symptoms which is not mentioned here, it was very much needed for correct opinion, any way it is not the serous condition, infection need to be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
