What Is Your Opinion About Turning Completely Vegan While Having Idiopathic Chronic Pancreatitis?

I was diagnosed with ideopathic Chronic Pancreatitus nearly two years ago now,and at that time had a whipple procedure. I am a male 27 years of age and wanted to start off 2012 by going strict Vegan and following a plant based diet? I have had mixed views from family members and friends worried that being Vegan and cutting out meat will not give my body the strengh and vitamins and minerals it requires???What are your thoughts on this matter please??

Hello. You must know that the pancreatic function is alterate and you have especially a exocrine insufficiency. turning complete vegan must be made with a medical and dietetic follow up for the vitamin, minerals and essential aminoacids but not impossible.
