What Is To Be Applied On Injured Forehead After Falling On Cemented Floor?

hello doctor Rr

my son got hurted after falling on cemented floor his forehead near eyes become black . What cream should i apply.

Kindly mention the age of the child.

IF it is a bruise or cut on the forehead, you can apply betadine ointment for LOCAL application.

I think your child has back eye after the fall, the simplest treatment and most effective is to give an ice pack for 10 min and then every hour for 5 min till black eye subsides.

IF THERE IS ANY difficulty in vision ,please consult an ophthalmologist.

Watch out for symptoms like vomiting,bleeding nose,loss of consciousness as they indicate head injury.

AND I HOPE he is vaccinated upto date for tetanus.
