What Is Thyroxine Dosage For Hypothyroidism?

I just got a diagnosis of hypothyroidism. My TSH is 7.48. My doctor kept me on Thyroxin 75 mcg. I am wondering whether this is too high for just 7.48 TSH. Should i take calcium supplement along with my thyroid supplementation? My doctor said it is not necessary.

A TSH of 7.4. is not that serious health issue. Thyroxin 75 mg is a good choice but it would be better you consult with an endocrinologist.
Things to remember
1.Avoid vegetables like Cabbage and cauliflower
2.You should always check your TSH at the same laboratory all the time
3.Regular Exercise and Diet Control is advised
4.Consult with your Physician if you are Experiencing any symptoms like Palpitations,Dry Mouth,Excessive loose Stools.
