Hi, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Since you've said you have a bump on the left side, it could be Tonsillitis? Do you feel more pain while swallowing? Any ways, drink plenty of fluids and do warm water gargles many times a day. You have a Infection, get yourself examined by a ENT Specialist as you may need antibiotics. It need not necessarily be Strep. Throat, don't worry.

Wish you Good Health, Take Care.
