What Is This Reason Of Having Only 1 Bowel Movement A Day After A Fall On My Back And Ribs ?

I fell about 7 days ago on my back/ribs and since then have only had 1 bowel movement , usually I have 2 or more bowel movements a day

Welcome to HCM.
You should be having regular bowel movements, even without a history of fall. The history of Fall and that too on your back makes it all the more important that you consult a Doctor immediately, to rule out any injury to your spine or spinal cord.

hi laurie,

is it only one bowel movement after a week? or one bowel movement per day?if there is a pain at back go for a treatment with nsaids, analgesic for pain and still if you feel any constipation problem take some laxatives by consulting the doctor about your problem.
