What Is The White Scar With A Red Ring In The Middle?
Hi, I have a scar on the back of my thigh that has been there for about one year. If I remember correctly, it developed after I picked out an ingrown hair from that area. I am now a little worried about whether the scar is from the ingrown hair or something else because of how it looks. It is white in the middle with a red ring, almost like broken blood vessels, but in a circle. My skin is not raised in the area, and it doesn t itch or cause pain. Thank you for your advice. Tamara

It may be atrophied scar ..so,it is white in the middle and reddish brown surrounding area. Do not worry as it does not increase in size and there is no other complaints. You need not to take any treatment. Take it easy. If you have any complaints or tension regarding this... consult the dermatologist immediately to have perfect diagnosis.
