What Is The Use Of Fertigyn Injection During Pregnancy?
Hi doctor, I am at the early stage of pregnancy i.e., 11th week. My ultrasound scan report says everything normal except heart bit of child was below average at first test. My doctor advised me to take fertigyn 5000 hp injection weekly once and I have completed the course of 6 injections. May I know what is the purpose of this injection?

Hello dear ,I understand your concern.In my opinion fertigyn injection has hcg harmone.this hcg harmone is very essential in early stages of pregnancy .It helps in the growth of conceptus,helps in maintainence of pregnancy..so sometimes where in it is deficient it may result in miscarriage.so in your case to improve the growth of fetus the injection was prescribed.Better you get ultrasound done at required intervals to monitor growth of fetus.you need not worry ...relax..
