What is the true course of leprosy?

hi doctor .. pleased to meet you and meet you. I want to ask your doctor about leprosy . please help me find the true course of the disease . I know that this disease starts from endemic areas with poor conditions lead to the development of germ mychobacterium leprae. I stuck to continue .. help me please
