Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
Contact dermatitis can be due to multiple factors and in you case seems to be due to plant resin and detergents.
I would suggest you local application of cream containing halobetasol/clobetasol and fusidic acid twice a day over affected areas for atleast 2 weeks. Add oral prednisolone 10mg twice a day for 5 days and once in morning for another 5 days.
Take antihistaminics like levocetrizine twice a day to decrease itching and irritation.
Avoid direct contact with chemicals, detergents and plants and always use proper gloves while handling them.
Avoid pricking/scratching of lesions.
Hope this will take care of your issue.
Thank you,
Dr Hardik Pitroda
