What Is The Treatment Period For Depression?
I am 21 yrs old. I have been suffering from depression, thoughts occur in my mind about past incidences and these thoughts are uncontrollable.I sometimes feel unusual fear also. Doctor prescribed me PRASILEX 1O, CLONOPAM -MD,VENLIFT OO37. How long will it take for me to recover?

PRASILEX contains escitalopram and venlift contains venlafaxine. Both are antidepressants and antidepressant usually takes two weeks to show response. in that case, you have to continuous treatment for months. Hope of you would get recover in a month or two and rest of months around 6 to 7 months, you would remain on maintenance dose. Rest, you can discuss with your psychiatrist.
