What Is The Treatment Other Than Radiation For Lymphoma ?
hi doctor ,my sister is suffering from non hodgkin lymphoma n undergone 8 cycles of chop n 3 cycles of mine n then 25 days of radiation therapy ,still her tumor has not gone ,what treatment options am i left with???

you should have restaging of cancer by PET-CT Scan.if disease have progressed than 3rd line of chemotherapy(DHAP/ESHAP) can be started . if there is repeated lines of chemotherapy than final option is BMT.

Please discuss with your doctor regarding bone marrow transplantation.
There are radionuclide tagged antibodies (Zevalin and Bexxar) which are also used in treating resistant lymphomas. Your doctor can tell you if that treatment can be given.

* The location of the tumor.
* The patient's age and overall health.
