What Is The Treatment Of Pain In Eyes ?

I went to reach for something on my desk and hit the corner of it very hard with my head. I was a hard hit. As it happened, I had immediate pain in my eye sockets, especially the eye closest to the hit. They still are hurting almost 9 hours later. What could it mean?

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a injury to the eye by hitting against the desk.
Following injury you are having pain in the eye sockets. This requires evaluation to look for any injury to the eye proper or any fracture of the underlying bone.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
As of now you can take analgesic tablets and if you are having any symptoms like redness of eyes, diminution of vision, you need to consult your doctor at the earliest.

Thank you
