What Is The Treatment Of Burning Sensation In Urethra?
I've had a burning sensation in my urethra for about 6-8 weeks. I am a 35 year old female virgin. It doesn't burn when I pee and I have no pain. I just have this burning feeling all the time in my urethra. I have tried cranberry pills, cranberry juice, and antiobiotics. I took the antibiotics after a doctor's visit because he thought I had a UTI. The pills helped maybe a week, but now the burning sensation is back. What could it be?
Do a urine routine again and if the UTI is gone you need further evaluation. It could be an allergic reaction. Check your sugars. Diabetes would present as UTI also. Follow proper hygiene after urinating. Wash the private area with water once you come home. Do not use soap which could change the Ph. Use a safe vaginal wash once a day. preferably before sleeping in night or while taking bath. Take proper wash routine for your panties or underwear and sundry them. Better to use cotton underwear which is breathable.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
