What Is The Treatment For Type One Diabetes And Low Grade Fever?

I am a type one diabetic. I just experienced sharp and excruciating pain in my right abdomen just under my ribs. I also have a low grade fever, feel pressure to have a bowel movement, and when my BP was taken, my systolic pressure was up (112 versus the normal 90 and under) and diastolic was low (55). I am told that I am fine, but I NEVER run a fever, and NEVER have pain in my abdomen. What should I be asking for with regard to test and medical help?

Hello,
you should be urgently evaluated by a doctor. You need at least a clinical examination. A pain under the ribs could be acute cholecystitis, acute hepatitis, acute appendicitis and other serious conditions. It could be a non-life-threatening condition as well like acute gastroenteritis.
Your blood pressure is just fine. A low grade fever could be many things. You can't establish any diagnosis based on that.
Since many important and urgent conditions could be the reason of your symptoms, I advice you to contact a physician as soon as possible.
Best wishes!
