What is the treatment for tinnitus?

My husband has developed a loud ringing in his ears, especially the right one. ENT told him hearing aids would stop it. IT DID NOT. LOUD CHER-UPPING RING. Could it be the meds or aspirin that he is on? He is on Metopolol, Clipodogrel, Zedia, Artovestatin, Lisinopril, Aspirin, Rantodine, Multivitamin
