HI i HAVE A THYROID PROBLEM I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN THE TABLET MUST BE TAKEN AND HOW LONG MUST YOU WAIT BEFORE YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT OR DRINK AFTER YOU HAVE TAKEN THE TABLETS I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT i CANT DRINK COFFEE WITH THE THYROID TABLETS iM TAKING ELTROXEN MEDS

Hi! The correct procedure is to take Eltroxin tablets on an empty stomach with some water. You can have something to eat after at least half an hour has passed
If you were to take Eltroxin after or immediately before breakfast the food would interfere with absorption of the drug which in turn would cause difficulty in
controlling thyroid hormone levels. All the best!
