have heard about a dietician by the name of Dr. Nupur in Panchkula. Would like to know more about her
I am a female, 34 yrs old, height 5 feet 6 inches. Current weight 80 kgs. 10 yr old thyroid disorder and take 150 mg Eltroxin daily. I walk 5 kms every day without fail and some days even 10 kms!! Had lost weight, but have hit a plateau. Need help!!

First you should get a proper diagnosis of hypothyroidism
you have to do all 6 tests which is never done even by endocrinologist in India
Do TSH , FREE T4 FREE T3 ,REVERSE T3 , REVERSE T4 AND TPO and TG antibodies before starting any medication for Hypothyroidism .
DO also a ULTRASOUND OF YOUR THYROID
Eltroxin is T4 which is not the active harmone
T3 is the active harmone
T4 has to get converted to T3 which requires adequate stores of
Iodine , iron , zinc , b12 and selelenium
dont use any fluoride toothaste .It will displace Iodine needed for making thyroid harmones
otherwise T4 or eltroxin will not work
do the right tests and go to the right dr to get the right treatment
