Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully your concerns and I can say as follows :

Bone spure (osteophyte) can cause a significant amount of pain. Is’t any correaltion beetwen thyroid cancer and Bone spure.

About your question :What is the treatment of thyroid cancer?
Treatment of thyroid cancer is by type and stage. Is thyroid cancer in your case :Papillary,Follicular or Medullary thyroid cancer?
Doctors on your cancer treatment team may include:
A surgeon: a doctor who uses surgery to treat cancers or other problems
An endocrinologist: a doctor who treats diseases in glands that secrete hormones
A radiation oncologist: a doctor who uses radiation to treat cancer
A medical oncologist: a doctor who uses chemotherapy and other medicines to treat cancer.

Please let me know what type of cancer you have?
Your last thyroid test?TSH,FT3,FT4?Tg?Calcitonin?
Thyroglobulin(Tg) Thyroglobulin is a protein made by the thyroid that carries thyroid hormone. The thyroid gland is the only organ which makes Tg.
Therefore, Tg is a good test to tell if there are thyroid cells in the body.

Calcitonina (This test is used as a tumor marker for a rare type of thyroid cancer known as medullary thyroid cancer)
The treatment options for thyroid cancer might include:
Radioactive iodine treatment, Thyroid hormone therapy,External beam radiation therapy,Chemotherapy .Targeted therapy

You must to know that bone metastases are typically associated with elevated markers of bone turnover, but these markers have not been evaluated in differentiated thyroid cancer.
Another councer is did this problem is involved in your bone?(metastasis?)
To identification the metastatsis ,whole-body positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) are the best anatomic and functional imaging techniques available in specialized centers allso iodine-PET scan combined (124)I-PET/CT.
Would like to know are treatment with Thyroid Replacement Therapy?
My advise is to repeate the thyroid tests:TSH,free T3 and free T4 Tg,Calcitonin ,PET/CT, than to consult an Endocrinologis and Oncologist.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Best regards
