Hello,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read carefully your query and I understand your concern.

The ultrasound report you are describing shows that you have a small kidney stone which is small enough to be passed out in your urine. Regarding the mild dilatation of your left kidney and ureter, it might be due to an old stone, which now has passed out.

In order to help yourself passing as soon as possible the stone, i would recommend you drink as much water as you can. You should drink enough water to make your urine colourless. If your urine is yellow or brown, you are not drinking enough. However, you may need some pain relief, and I would recommend you an NSAID such as achetaminophen (Tylenol), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) or naproxen (Aleve).
Another advice I would give you is to use cranberry products, which have shown to have a great effect in helping rid off the kidney stones.

Hope I helped with my answer. If you have further questions I would pe happy to answer you.

Take Care,
Dr. Ina Zaimi
