What Is The Treatment For The Severe Cramps During Menstruation?

Hi, I have been experiencing severe cramps during my period after I started taking microgynon 30. The pain continues even though I have stopped taking the pill for nearly 4 months now. Please I need some advice on what I can do. The pain is so bad, I am unable to do anything but lay down.

Hello madam, from the history you have given, I would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist, as you may require an examination to rule out the cause of pain during menustration. Usually women with endometriosis present with severe pain during menustration. If everything is normal, then may be prescribed medicines like antispasmodics to release pain.hope I was helpful to you.
