What Is The Treatment For The Diffuse Thyroid Parenchymal Disease?
I have been hypothyroid for 7 years and take 2 x 100mcg levothyroxine per day. I recently had a thyroid ultrasound and received the following results which I don't understand. Both thyroid lobes are normal in size with a coarse and heterogenous parenchymal echopattern. Focus of calcifocation is seen in the mid segment of right lobe. The isthmus is not thickened. Impression: Consider diffuse thyroid parenchymal disease. Correlation with other parameters is suggested. Please explain to me what that means.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
