What Is The Treatment For Stroke?

My husband is 38 yrs. old and had a mild stroke in November of 2010. He also has hypertention urgency. He is complaing of a pain in his heart similar to the pain you get in your side when you run to much. He takes his medication as prescribed, he is not showing any signs of a heart attack, but the pain has been there for 2 weeks. I am getting very worried any suggestions?

If he is complaining pain in heart from two weeks. Any patient with me I will suggest immediate ecg first and then based on report if needed treadmill test for heart and then again if needed coronary angiogram to rule out the blockage.
Here you need to understand stroke can also happen again if there is a problem with heart and if it is not able to pump blood properly till brain.
As well if he still have functional disability due to stroke then as a physio I make my patient do stretching, strengthening and mobility exercise with balance and coordination exercise too. And that will be with use of special technique like proprietary neuromuscular facilitation and motor relearning therapy. Take care.
