What Is The Treatment For Stomach Pain,painful And Bloody Bowel Movements?
My brother has lost about 80 pounds in less than 6 months without dieting. His skin color is pale like no rosy color with tan like before. His speech has slowed down, he doesn t have energy or strength to walk or talk the way he used to. He is 49years old. He used to weigh about 280. He is 5 7. At times when he urinates it may be pinkish indicating blood in urine. Also very important when passing bowel movement it s painful and xtreme burning and at times bloody. He has polyps in 2008 which some were lasered I don t XACTLY know if he was supposed to follow up but he never went. He also mentioned to me he had a polyp in stomach? He while in Hosp had gotten blood transfusion. So what could this be? He says when he touches his stomach it hurts all over. My brother is XTREMELY noncompliant with his follow ups and such, and I hate to think of it but I know it s not good.

Blood in urine and stool at his age is a matter of concern and it warrants detailed evaluation to find out underlying cause for it.
Even after removal of polyp, regular follow up is required so in my opinion he should immediately visit his doctor or other gastroenterologist for proctoscopy or colonoscopy if need be, with other blood investigation like CBC, ESR, liver function test, blood sugar and coagulation profile.
Blood in urine again is a matter of concern, I would advise him for an ultrasound Kidney, ureter, urinary bladder and prostate with prostate specific antigen (PSA) test and urine microscopy test.
In my opinion he should immediately consult a gastroenterologist and urologist for detailed evaluation and all investigation to establish a diagnosis and timely treatment.
Amount of blood loss to be ascertained by blood hemoglobin and blood indices, He may require iron folic acid supplements or blood transfusion according to blood report.
