Hello
I really appreciate your concern for your brother.
Blood in urine and stool at his age is a matter of concern and it warrants detailed evaluation to find out underlying cause for it.
Even after removal of polyp, regular follow up is required so in my opinion he should immediately visit his doctor or other gastroenterologist for proctoscopy or colonoscopy if need be, with other blood investigation like CBC, ESR, liver function test, blood sugar and coagulation profile.
Blood in urine again is a matter of concern, I would advise him for an ultrasound Kidney, ureter,
urinary bladder and prostate with
prostate specific antigen (PSA) test and urine microscopy test.
In my opinion he should immediately
consult a gastroenterologist and
urologist for detailed evaluation and all investigation to establish a diagnosis and timely treatment.
Amount of blood loss to be ascertained by blood hemoglobin and blood indices, He may require iron folic acid supplements or
blood transfusion according to blood report.
Hope this answers your question please feel free to ask for follow up question I will be happy to help you.
Best wishes
