What Is The Treatment For Soreness In The Stomach?

Hello, my 3 year old son has complained of sore tummy s since he was just under 2 years old. Usually goes through a few weeks of complaining once or twice a day, then it might not be mentioned for a week or even up to a month after. It only effects him for a little while and then he s off as per normal. Every so often he goes to the toilet and the poo is yellow/white and he vomits. These days he will be quite off. This doesn t happen very often though. I have queried it at the doctors several times and they have checked his tummy and looked him over and assume it must be related to his diet. His diet has improved at lot lately but I was wondering if things like milk or other products could be upsetting his tummy. I can t seem to find a common trigger. Thank you.

Hi,

Occasional abdominal pain and vomiting may be due to food intolerance or stomach infection due to parasites or gluten sensitivity or malabsorption syndrome or abdominal colic for an unknown reason.

Please get it done ultrasound abdomen, stool examination and complete blood picture.

You may use colic aid syrup if necessary according to the body weight.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
